Karsten had a good time playing with Holden - they are very close in age and got along great!
Liam was enamored with the rooster and we made several trips to the coop to watch it. He would watch it, then turn around, look at me and laugh while pointing to the rooster. Later, he stood on the driveway yelling and I'm convinced that he was trying to sound like the rooster.
Liam showing us the tractor. Oddly enough, once the tractor was started and everyone was loaded up for the ride, he wouldn't go near the tractor. I think the loud noise scared him.
This little girl caught a frog that was hopping around. Karsten and Holden were fascinated - the girl offered to let them hold it, but after they watched the frog escape her hands several times, neither of them wanted to hold the frog.
The frog planning his next escape.
Then everyone loaded up for a tractor ride around the property. Since Liam would have nothing to do with the tractor, we watched and waved goodbye. As soon as the tractor was too far away to catch up, Liam started to cry because he wanted daddy. Luckily, there was a big fluffy dog wandering around that entertained Liam and made him forget that he was missing Daddy. Karsten had a great time on the tractor ride, but when they got back, he was ready to go play some more.
We lucked out with beautiful weather (it was in the 70's!) and had a fun evening! We eventually had to round up the boys and head home since tomorrow is a school day!
