After shopping for summer clothes for Karsten, I took a spin through the toy and puzzle area to see if I could find any treasures. Our boys have become quite the skilled puzzle do-ers (yes, that's a word) so I'm always on the lookout for new puzzles. I found a United States puzzle that Karsten will enjoy and a Melissa and Doug puzzle that both boys will have fun with.
I also found this cute Thomas the Train station for some of the Take Along Thomas Trains that Liam has accumulated.
It was a hit, and the perfect size to hold several of his trains. It's also portable so he could take it along with us if we go somewhere when he would have time to play - grandma's house perhaps?
Karsten is just getting into super heros, particurlarly Captinan America. It's so cute how he says it, I haven't corrected him. He was way excited about this shield that shoots disks - we've had a few discussions about not shooting at people's heads/faces.
I thought I had my old Candy Land game; however, when I went to dig it out over Christmas, I didn't have it. So, when I saw a Candy Land game, it was mine! It is a hit, Karsten loves it - I think he's the perfect age for games. He may loosely interpret the rules at times; however, I know many adults that do the same thing!
