Routine

Everyone knows that little ones are creatures of habit.  As Liam gets older and more independent, getting to and from the car at Gail's can take extra time.  You have to stop and say hi to the concrete lion, and sometimes sit on it, rock the Jayhawk statue a few times, point out birds in the sky, notice that we're 'tall' when we get to the top of the stairs, then finally get inside.

It's interesting to see the little things that catch his attention - he doesn't miss many details!
