The doctor...again

Despite the antiobiotic for Liam's ears, he came down with a fever and vomiting.  Poor little guy had a rough night and his temp got up to 102.8.  I realize that's not super high, but it is too high for me!  Plus, his cough was getting deeper.  So, we headed to walk in hours at the doctor in the morning for a check up.  His temp was down, hovering around 100.  We think it broke around 3:30am this morning, thank goodness.

Our doctor said his ears were clearing up and his throat was red, so she wanted to do some tests.  He had a strep test and blood work done to test his white blood count and test for the flu.  Luckily, they all came back negative.  Her theory was that he got a virus on top of the ear infection.

When she listened to his lungs, she heard a little something in the back that concerned her, so she sent us to have a chest xray to ensure he didn't have pnumonia.

He did great with the chest xray and they read the results quickly and called our doctor.  Thankfully, the xrays were fine.  His tummy doesn't seem to be upset anymore, so we headed home to have him try eating some toast.

Now, hopefully everyone else will stay healthy because we have a big weekend ahead of us!
