Apple picking - part 2

After lots of apple crisp, apple butter, dried apples, apples frozen for later and apples enjoyed raw - we were out of apples from our first trip apple picking.  Our plan was to make a quick trip to the apple orchard so we could stock up on more apples.  We didn't count on huge crowds of people also having the same plan.  Seems that our fav apple orchard is getting popular!

We finally made it out to the orchard and the boys immediately wanted to find an apple to eat.

Running up and down the rows of trees entertains the boys while Scott picks apples.  I grab a few apples here and there, but Scott's the real apple picker amongst us.

The boys were entertained that they found holes that were the perfect size for them to sit in.

Simple pleasures!

Visiting the ducks is a highlight of our visits to the apple orchard.  The ducks are so tame, they'll let kids be right next to them.  They were hoping for duck food but we didn't search too hard for the food dispenser - next time!
