They had Chris Cakes making pancakes for everyone. I had never had Chris Cakes before, and they're pretty tasty, plus they have this cool contraption to make equal sized pancakes.
Karsten was a bit mesmerized by the pancake making machine and watching the guy flip pancakes to people.
After our yummy pancake breakfast, we headed over to see if they were still milking the cow. Unfortunately, we missed it but we still had fun in the cow 'barn'.

This guy did not approve of me leaning on the rails to take a picture of him and his friends. Each time I touched the top railing, he was immediately right in front of me. I tried it in several spots around the pen and got the same reaction each time.
The cow that had just been milked was being put back in her pen, but luckily the boys got a chance to pet and talk to her. 'Her is eating' said Liam.
Each time Karsten said something to this baby cow it moooo'd back at him. They were having a little conversation!
Feeding the goats is not one of my favorite activities at the farm. Some of the goats are pretty bold and will jump on you to try to get the bottle. The volunteers were doing a good job keeping the goats from jumping today, so it wasn't too bad.
Karsten found a smaller, nice goat that would just drink the bottle and not try to walk away with it.
Liam decided he wanted to say hi to all of the goats
He walked up and quickly swiped his hand across the back of each goat. They watched him warily but didn't move or protest.
The boys were both delighted and scared to have the ducks be so close to them. They were doing a good job feeding them until a big goose got a bit overzealous and bit Karsten's hand along with the food. Everyone around us knew what happened as Karsten shrieked.
Next we were off to see the other animals and play on the playgrounds.
It was a fun morning at the farm!
