Balloons

There was a balloon festival in town this weekend and the weather cooperated, so we were able to stop by and see all of the balloons.  Their website had vague information that didn't really tell us if the balloons were going to take off or if they were just going to inflate then glow when it got dark.

As we drove up on Saturday night, we saw a few balloons floating away but there were still many left on the ground.  They inflated all the special shape balloons but no more balloons took off.  It was still cool to see all of the balloons inflate.  We tried guessing what the balloon was going to be as we saw it going up.

The dragon was hiding behind some other balloons, but we could still see him peeking over the top.




Liam had more fun watching all of the cars drive by.

And then the balloons finally glowed!  They are so pretty when they light up!


Scott's friend from work came down with her family to see the balloons.  This little guy, Aiden, is 5 months old and he is adorable!

He never got tired of watching the balloons!

It was fun to see the balloons glow.  Hopefully in the future, the balloons will actually launch.  They are so pretty to watch!
