Coming soon?

It's been so nice here lately that I'm hopeful fall is on it's way and the weather isn't just teasing us before another streak of 100+ degree weather.  We took advantage of the nice weather and took a stroll to the park to play.

We're trying to teach Karsten to pump his legs on the swing.  He'll get it occasionally then the other times he says 'what you say daddy?' because he didn't hear Scott giving directions as he swung away from him (or because he thinks it's a fun game).




Liam wasn't too sure about this swing.  Since the swing is so big, he can lean and tip the swing so it feels unsteady to him.  When he was leaning back and swinging, he was having fun.  When he leaned forward and felt a big unsteady, he was done with the swing!


Scott put Liam down the slide, but Liam wasn't so sure about that.  I think he was tired and ready to head home.
 

But Karsten was having a great time!
 

 

I've given up trying to convince him to come down the slide the 'correct' way.  Apparently this is way more fun, and thankfully the slide is not very fast so he comes inching down it on his tummy.
