Karsten got a new bike today. What's the occasion you ask? The 'official' reason is that it is a celebration of him being potty trained. The actual reason is that we got a great deal on a bike, so we snapped it up.
As Scott rolled it out, Karsten's eyes like up and he took off running towards it!
He immediately tried to climb on it, he was ready to go!
So excited!
It will take practice to get the hang of only pedaling forward. Pedaling backwards is the brakes on this bike, but on other bikes, he's been able to pedal backwards and move the bike backwards.
He was starting to get the hang of pedaling forward and was very proud of himself.
Then he rode right off the edge of the patio - he forgot to pedal backwards. I took this as I was running over to see if he was ok - thus the big blur.
Poor lil guy. He was ok - just a little banged up and scared. After his tumble, he took a few more spins on the bike, but was then done for the night.
