The wagon was a hit - the boys pulled each other all around the house before the game. Once we got to the game, Karsten had to pull Liam to the field. He did a pretty good job, considering Liam weighs around 30lbs, plus the weight of the chairs and the wagon itself.
While we brought the wagon to carry everything, it ended up being good entertainment for Liam. He climbed in and out a billion times.
How cute are these little soccer players. In case you can't spot him, Karsten is the second from the left.
Watching the game - it was a fleeting moment before he went back to playing. He really does pretty well staying entertained with toys, playing with the water bottles and ending up soaked and playing with his trucks.

This is how Karsten seems to play - he runs along the side of the pack of kids. If the ball is in front of him, he'll kick it; however, he's not going to take it away from someone else. Perhaps that skill will come later - if you think about it, stealing the ball runs counter to everything we've taught him about sharing and being nice to others. We'll pretend that's the reason. :)

Today was supposed to be picture day; however, when we got to pictures, only three of his team showed up. SO, we decided not to do group pictures and then Karsten was the only one that was going to do any pictures. We didn't want that, so I said we could just take one at home.
Pictures didn't start out very well - he didn't want to smile for me.
But thanks to Scott, we managed to get this fantastic smile. Isn't our little soccer player adorable?
Being silly
Since we managed to get some great pictures of him, I wasn't disappointed that we didn't get the 'official' pictures.
