Liam spotted Santa coming around the corner and wasn't sure what to think.
Santa arrived in this super cool sleigh with an elf and one other helper. We tried to figure out what is under the sleigh, but we never figured it out.
Santa greeting all of the kids.
After Santas arrival, we headed inside to get in line for a picture with the big guy. There were lots of activities for the kids to do and cookies to enjoy, so the wait in line seemed to go quickly.
The decorate a snowman activity was a favorite. Karsten enjoyed putting a scarf on, adding mittens and a hat.
Throw a snowball at the snowman is always a favorite.
Finally, it was our turn to see Santa. We decided to have Karsten go first in the hopes that Liam wouldn't be too afraid to sit on Santa's lap.
Check out Santa's bluetooth headset - do you think Santa was expecting an important call from Mrs. Claus or the elves?
Karsten told him that he wants Ninja turtles - a red one and a blue one.
When Karsten was done, we tried to put Liam on Santa's lap and he said 'NOOO oh ho, oh ho'.
Then, because I'm a sucker for pictures, we waited in another line to get a family picture in front of the tree. We didn't get smiles for both of them, but they were mostly looking at the camera so I call it a success. I get all frustrated when they won't listen and look at the photographer, but I need to relax and learn to remember that they're just 2 and 4.

We heard that Santa's sleigh has an impressive departure; however, we didn't want to wait for another hour so we settled for a picture in front of the sleigh.
