Brothers

I love watching these two together.  Lately, after we drop Karsten off at school and Liam and I drive to Gail's, Liam says 'Yaya home' in a sad voice.  I say 'do you miss Karsten?' and he says 'yeah'.  Then I remind him that he'll see Karsten a little later and he says 'tay' in the same sad voice. He misses his big brother during the day!

When we get home, Karsten likes Liam and I to play hide and seek and find him.  So, Liam will walk around and say 'YAYA, yaaaa yaaaaa'

When Liam finds Karsten (it's not usually too hard!), he gives him a hug which Karsten will sometimes reciprocate.  If Karsten doesn't, we usually encourage him to do so.

But just as quickly as they were embracing, they'll be argueing over a toy or something the other has done.

But they have fun together and each of them feeds off the other.  We have a lot of monkey see, monkey do in our house.

Or maybe we just have two monkeys?

Either way, they keep things interesting!

And I love moments like this!

Or moments like this when I see Liam look at Karsten to see what to do next.
