Decorating Christmas Trees

We haven't been ambitious enough to tackle a gingerbread house yet, we've stuck to decorating individual trees - aka waffle cones.  The bonus is that you can eat your tree when you're done.

Last year I got a bunch of different candies for the trees and the boys were not at all interested, they were more enamored with sprinkles.  So this year we were all about the sprinkles.

Frosting an upside down ice cream cone is harder than it looks, especially if you don't want to end up covered in the frosting.

Scott helped supervise Liam's sprinkle usage to ensure our whole house din't become covered in red sugar sparkles.

Liam didn't like that the sprinkles also stuck to his frosting fingers.

Karsten was very intent on getting the red glitter to cover his tree.

I didn't get a picture of Liam's finished product before he started eating.  That doesn't really surprise me with Liam. :)
