Christmas Countdown - Light Tour

One of our favorite Christmas Countdown activities is driving around and looking at the lights.  We had heard great things about the lights at Deanna Rose Farmstead, so we headed there first.

It was a perfect night to look at lights because it was sooo cold outside, we were nice and warm bundled in the car.


I snapped this (oh so flattering) picture of Liam as he was watching the lights at Deanna Rose.  They have it set up so there is a drivethrough lane as well as a parking area.

We pulled toward the front and got a great view of the lights.  Karsten kept saying 'OH, look over there' then a minute later he said 'Look over there!', and Liam was saying "OOO". It was set to music and all of the lights were coreographed to the music.  The picture below doesn't do it justice - if you're in the KC area next year over the holidays, you should really check it out!

After Deanna Rose, we drove through a few neighborhoods that had great displays. Another great light tour in the books!
