Annual T-Bones Game

It's time for our annual T-Bones game with Linda, Leland, Kelli, David, Trent and Taylor.  This was a fun follow-up to the Royal's game we were at the night before.

We tailgated in the parking lot before the game and celebrated Karsten and Scott's upcoming birthdays.  Before we knew it, it was time to get packed up and head into the stadium.  We told Karsten and Liam they had to hold someone's hands in the parking lot and they chose Trent and Taylor.  How sweet is this - our boys look up to Trent and Taylor so much, and they are so great with Karsten and Liam.

Scott's always in charge of getting tickets, and he did a great job this year - we were right next to the visiting team's dugout and had a great view of the game.

I think Liam spent most of the game walking between his seat and Grandma's lap or climbing over chairs to sit by Taylor.

Karsten brought his glove to tonight's game as well - with our seats right next to the field, he had a much better chance of catching or getting a ball!

Liam climbed down to sit next to Taylor and Taylor immediately put his arm around Liam.  How adorable is this - and I love that Taylor's glove is still on.  He's prepared!

Can you tell these two are related? :)

When the other team was coming to the dugout at the end of an inning, one of the players gave a ball to Karsten.  Karsten didn't hesitate for a minute - he turned around and gave Liam the ball. At the game last year, Trent got a ball and gave it to Karsten because he already hd a ball.  Karsten had said that if he got a ball, he was going to give it to Liam.  I was so proud of Karsten and Liam was thrilled - he said 'thank you karten!!!' (he still has trouble with the 's' in Karsten's name).

For the rest of the game, Liam was entertained by the ball.  There were a few times we thought he was about to throw it back on the field, but we stopped him in the nick of time.

I wish I could remember what Karsten was lecturing Liam about, but I'm not sure.  Whatever it was, it was serious business!

A guy in the row behind us won a t-shirt and ended up giving it to Taylor - so nice!

Everyone had a fun night! T-Bones games are definetely family friendly and a great evening for all.
