Christmas Countdown - Day 22 {Crown Center}

It's been a long time since I've been to Crown Center to see the beautiful Christmas decorations.  When I was planning our Christmas countdown, a giant Christmas tree seemed like something the boys would enjoy seeing.

The trees were just as beautiful as I remembered!  Liam was too busy looking at the lights to look at the camera.

I wonder how many lights are on this tree...

The water in the fountains were choreographed with Christmas music - so cool to watch!

View of the trees and fountains.

The original plan had us going to see the tree then coming home.  Scott had the brilliant idea of having dinner at Crown Center and eating in front of the windows so we could watch the lights.

Then we had to check out the gingerbread train village.  Karsten was a big fan and Liam tried to grab the glass each time the train came past him.

After dinner, we went back to see the tree again and arrived just in time for another musical water show.

Scott pointed out that the branches of the tree are bolted on to the tree trunk.  We're not sure if they did this to make the tree look fuller or if they had to take the branches off to transport it.  For as far as we could see, branches were bolted into the tree.

Wishing he could get out of the stroller and follow his brother!

There were these large wooden cars and animals all around the base of the tree.  Karsten ran between them, trying to decide what to play on next.

What a fun night - this is definitely making the list for next year!
