It was a little bit chaotic - they opened the doors to a hallway and the eggs were all against the lockers. There were so many kiddos stopping for eggs that it made it tough to walk through and gather eggs.
We kept moving down the hallway and found a less crowded spot where we could let Liam walk (without getting knocked over). He quickly got the hang of picking up eggs and plopping them in his bucket.
Then we found an open area to empty our eggs so we could turn in the shells. We had a hard time keeping Karsten focused on emptying the eggs and not unwrapping and eating all of the candy. :)
Liam was like - "hey, did you know there was something IN these eggs?"
Then we went to visit the Easter bunny. Karsten was ready to hop up on the Easter bunny's lap.
But Liam was having none of it - he was scared of the Easter bunny.
So we retreated to the other side of the gym so we could try to get a picture of both boys with their Easter baskets.
Liam kept watching the Easter bunny, but he wouldn't get much closer than this.
