Good Friday

Scott and I are both lucky to have Good Friday as a vacation day.  We spent the day running errands and crossing things off our to-do list.  I used to feel bad about sending the boys to Gail's when we had a day off; however, I've realized that by doing so, we have all of our errands and 'to do' list items done and can really enjoy the weekends with them.  So, no more guilt about that!

We always head over to my parents for a yummy shrimp dinner on Good Friday.  I caught the boys playing together with this stacking toy while they waited for dinner.  Karsten would hand a ring to Liam, encourage him to put it on, then clap for him when he put it on the toy.  He's such a good big brother. Times like this, he enjoys being a big boy and helping out, then when Liam is doing something babyish that gets attention, Karsten wants to do that as well.  Being 3.5 is a tough age!

Karsten had several stuffed animals that needed repairs by Grandma.  Blue dinosaur (yes, that's his official name, and don't even think of calling him blue dino - you will be corrected!), red bear and his new hammer brother figure all needed repair.  Karsten supervised carefully to make sure his stuffed animals were ok.
